History proxomed Medizintechnik GmbH develops and manufactures advanced exercise equipment and training concepts for both medical and fitness markets. Based on more than 20 years experience in the medical field our team has created unique training software allowing tailored training programs for your customers. proxomed - part of the BERNINA Holding, Inc. - was founded in 1986 in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany. Proxomed has grown from a national sales organization to a worldwide operating company. Our head quarter is located in Alzenau, Germany (40km east of Frankfurt) with an office in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany and a subsidiary in Steckborn, Switzerland. Throughout Europe and Asia proxomed has established an excellent reputation within the medical field. In 2005 proxomed founded the proxowell GmbH, our own production facility. Once more proxomed moved a step forward and set an important milestone for the future development of the company. This guarantees a faster production cycle as well as more flexibility when it comes to accommodate specific market needs and trends.
